Built for Sultan Abdülaziz between 1863 and 1867 by the Balyan family of architects, gutted by fire in 1910 and reopened as a hotel in 1990 with the restored palace wing following in 1992, Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul has 317 rooms and suites between the palace and the hotel wing, an outdoor infinity pool on the Bosphorus shore, waterfront gardens in Beşiktaş and the Sultan Suite in the palace itself.
