Divan Çukurhan is a 16th-century Ottoman han below the walls of Ankara Castle in Ulus, once listed by the World Monuments Fund among 100 endangered monuments and restored as a hotel: rooms and suites round a glass-roofed courtyard, each decorated to a different theme, the Safranhan Brasserie with a terrace over the old town, and the Museum of Anatolian Civilisations a few minutes' walk away.
