Four Diamonds
Begun in 1977 as a pension by Ayla Emiroğlu and moved to its present cove in Türkbükü, Maçakızı is a whitewashed hotel of 51 rooms in bougainvillea-covered terraces above a wooden beach deck on the bay: the restaurant terrace, a pool in the garden and the beach club are the centre of Türkbükü's summer, and Villa Maçakızı adds ten rooms with butler service.
