Opened on 14 February 2023 at Galataport on the Karaköy waterfront, The Peninsula Istanbul occupies four buildings on the Bosphorus, three of them protected early-1900s landmarks including the 1937 passenger terminal, and has 177 rooms and suites, an outdoor pool by the water, an indoor pool and spa, a rooftop restaurant and garden, with the Galata Tower and the Karaköy ferries a short walk away.
