Opened in 1964 as the Büyük Efes, the first grand hotel of the Aegean coast, and reopened in 2008 after a three-year rebuild under the Swissôtel name, Swissôtel Büyük Efes stands in 12,000 square metres of gardens beside the Kordon: 402 rooms including 55 suites, a collection of more than 800 artworks, three restaurants, a 5,500-square-metre spa with indoor and outdoor pools and a convention centre with 19 meeting rooms.
